June 16th is the deadline for sending in estimated payments to the IRS. Most people don’t have to do that because their employer holds out taxes from their check and sends it in every quarter, but if you have your own business, a side-gig, or your employer isn’t holding out enough taxes, then you would have to make estimated tax payments. The best way to do this is to open an IRS account using ID.me, and set it up that way. Once you do, it’s very easy to make an estimated payment.
